today I'm stuck in tongue tie.  Found several articles on long term effects  of untreated TT....speech disorders, sleep apnea, dental issues, muscle tension dysphonia, & esophageal dysmotility, 
Personally I think (aside from ruining breastfeeding  if no repair done) that you can never tell who is going to have a problem later in life. It is so much easier to fit the TT shortly after birth, instead of all the therapy needed later on when problems rear their nasty heads.  Pat in sNJ
