 Semmelweis isn't the only one.  The Austalian dr who said stomach ulcers were caused by h. pylori was rediculed , until some drs tried antibiotics and oh my it worked!I had a little patient once who had hicooughs endlessly.  I checked for H. Pylori, gave him abx and his mom was so relieved she gave me a clock which is on the shelf by my desk.  He's probably finished college by now, LOL.It has happened over and over P lease excuse my spelling this am. Pat
