The best (and cheapest) way to to get on MEDLINE is through your librarian
at a college, university or hospital. They will help you type in several
key words like: breastfeeding/lactation/medications Then specify what
years. MEDLINE will then search the database and bring up all the pertinent
articleswilthin that time period with abstracts which can then be printed
off for your files. MEDLINE is from the National Library of Medicine and is
the most comprehensive online resource for medical literature. It covers
the time period from 1966 to the present. MEDLINE can be accessed through
on-line services like CompServe and AOL but it can get very expensive going
that route.
