I use cabergoline at times for mothers with huge oversupplies, when nothing else works to bring down the milk supply. When I use this, I will just use one dose once, or maybe twice, and it works beautifully.
However, very occasionally I will have a mother who takes 1-too-many doses, and ends up crashing her supply. I find that it takes 3-6 weeks to build that supply back up again. It is essentially a re-lactation situation. I use herbs such as moringa, and lots of breast stimulation/drainage. The supply almost ways returns to where it needs to be, but remember that these are moms who are prone to high supply, so they might have an easier time relactating than a mother who you might be inquiring about.

Subject: Relactation after cabergoline
I'm looking for information on relactation soon after taking cabergoline early post-partum. I would really appreciate any links to information or case studies, or any experiences you are able to share.
Many thanks,
