Judy as much as each of us beaieves heart and soul, as each of us is
aware that if they would only be patient they would get to the time where it
is so easy, so fulfilling....we can not walk in their shoes, we can not be in
thier homes....
I believe very strongly in the importance of our being there and being
non-judgmental. This allows them to grow and with patience they grow to our
way of seeing...no not always.
One of my toughest to contend with is the mother who knows there is
assistance available, chooses not to avail herself of it and then quits
because "it didn't work" ...I often wonder how they got to the places in life
they have achieved with these attitiudes...
Somewhere in this picture are parenting issues and issues of how we treat
children and thier importance or not ....
keep at it, remember the lovely notes you recieve, make a
book, hold on to the ones with whom you have travelled far
