The synthetic THC is found in the breastmilk, and there is nothing in the
literature to support it being safe for newborns. She should talk to her
bariatric team to find out why she is chronically nauseous. Other than
that, all other breastfeeding teaching would be standard. The hope is that
she is working with a nutritionist as well. Bariatric surgery is hard on
the body. Top that off with a pregnancy and you may have.a chronically ill
and malnourished mother.
