Thank you Karleen, and congratulations!

Yes, I would be very interested to get a direct link to the information
(ploughing through websites of the European laws is not a talent of mine :-)
- or any other way where I can find *markers* on bottles don't have to be
accurate in Europe. So what is the standard about? Material made of (like
BPA-free and such?)?

Thank you in advance.

In admiration,
Lydia, LLL, Netherlands

Onderwerp: Inaccurate baby bottles

Hi All,
Just wanted to alert you all to a study by myself and fellow list mother,
Nina Berry, which found that infant feeding bottles are commonly inaccurate.
The results are summarised here

Happy to send a copy of the paper to anyone who is interested in it.
Everyone, where ever they are in the world should be concerned about this as
there is only one standard in the world for baby bottles and the one that
exists (European Standard) does not prevent bottles from having inaccurate
markers.
