I have a nurse friend who is due to deliver next week who has asked me what she should do with a milk bleb that she still has left from nursing her 2 year old daughter. It was painful in the acute phase, never opened, and eventually felt better. She continued to bf for a year. She is now due to deliver and concerned about the bleb and what problems it may cause with breastfeeding her new baby. Should she attempt to open it now, prior to delivery? I wasn't sure what to tell her and wanted to get your expert advice to share with her. Thanks in advance! Jan
