Julie Tardos asked:
"I have a question about TT & LT, actually.  Tongue tie is ankyloglossia. What is lip tie?"
A more technical name for lip tie would be hyperplastic (or fibrous orshort or tight) maxillary labial frenum.

Thanks, Ruth.  Is there a separate dx code for that vs using the one for ankyloglossia?  The closest that I was able to find was 744.9: unspecified congenital anomaly of face/neck.
Thanks again,
