I have seen something similar- clear yellow fluid (appearing more like urine than colostrum) with large white globules. This patient was pumping for her baby in the NICU. One of our neonatologists thought it might be cystic fluid. Women can have benign cysts in the breast that may become more apparent after lactogenesis. Perhaps cystic breast tissue may be more prone to infection as well?
