I was approached by one of my clients, who is writing an article about babies and breakfast foods, with the question what makes fenugreek increase milk production?

She wanted to know if there was reaction in moms body physiologically that increased milk or if the maple taste it can cause then causes baby to want to nurse more increasing milk supply.

Although I don't know the answer for certain, my thoughts would be that it might have an affect on moms hormones which then causes the increase in milk.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this or research that I can pass onto her?

TIA
