Dear Lactnet Friends:
Pat Young cites the story told by Susan Ludington-Hoe at the 1997 LLLI
conference in Washington, DC. I was there; she told the story of how
kangaroo care came to be called s2s in her research.
Her lab was sabotaged twice by animal rights activists who believed that
baby kangaroos were being abused.
And that happened before social media!
warmly,
