Dear Friends,
Any thoughts? Not my client. This is from another IBCLC in my local WIC
office. I am especially interested in the blue spots.
Thank you!

"We had a mom that we saw today who states that she had mastitis while breastfeeding her other children and she is now seeing symptoms with the current baby too. She states that she sometimes sees blue specks along with thick stringy milk. I have not heard about blue specks before. No soreness, pain, fever, chills or other signs of infection. Do you know anything about blue specks and what may cause those?
