Absolutely. Breastmilk and breastfeeding are not magic wands. Any effects are likely to be more measurable if bf is done for a period of time - but putting all babies into one of only two categories (breastfed/not breastfed) will not reveal this. 

I am still hoping more people will take up my offer to read the actual paper. Only one so far has asked. 

My understanding is that no analysis was made on duration on exclusivity. This is going to affect results  - right?
