I am a hospital-based and private practice IBCLC here in Hartford, CT. While I don’t rent baby scales, I do use one in my practice for private consults. I certainly could be available for a consult for mom if she needs, and offer my scale for weights, although not for her to keep Patrice Jones, IBCLC in Southington CT may rent scales, she can be found online. Another option is our free support group @ Saint Francis hospital. It is every Monday, from 1:30 to 3pm, and we bring a scale for moms to weigh their babies. And it is free with free parking, in Hartford. Unfortunately, it just finished an hour ago for the week.
My contact info is [log in to unmask], facebook @ Oh, Baby lactation care, or phone @ 860-212-5440. Connecticut is fairly small and driveable from many areas. Please have her reach out for more local help; if we can offer it!
Lori Atkins, RN, IBCLC
