An update: The baby is feeding better again, but having about one bowel movement a day now and not as fussy. I urged her to go to the pediatrician or to me for a weight check to make sure that all is well and just a variation on the norm. I offer a free follow up visit at my home office, but unfortunately it is not necessarily enough of an incentive for the mom to follow up. It is frustrating that I have no way of ensuring that this baby's weight is monitored properly.
