Aside from the clinical limitations of video-based consults, please be
aware that FaceTime consults on an Apple product (phone, iPad or computer)
do NOT rise to the level of encryption and security typical of true
telehealth programs. They violate HIPAA/HITECH in the USA because the
communication uses the "Cloud," and Apple will not sign a required Business
Associate Agreement. For a quick explanation, see

If your facility wants to go the telehealth route, they need to use a
system designed for that purpose.
