Hi all!

I am a PHD candidate in Sociology studying barriers to lactation certification and IBCLC work experiences. I am asking that you please consider participating in my dissertation research (criteria listed below) or forwarding this announcement to anyone you know who may be interested. I have conducted some interviews already and, at this point, I am particularly in need of IBCLCs who are people of color.

Participants must be IBCLC certified and be able to provide 1 to 2 hours of their time for a phone interview. The interview primarily focuses on the process through which you became certified. Some questions also ask about the nature of your work experiences since becoming IBCLC certified.

This is an unfunded dissertation study, so there are no conflicts of interests to report.

If you would like to participate, please contact Erin Echols at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> to express interest in participation or for additional information. I would love to speak with you and/or answer any of your questions.
