Methergine and having mom's pump and dump has reared its head at my hospital in the past week. We are using Hales & Infant risk article to educate Peds, OB's and nursing staff about Methergine & breastfeeding. We have staff that have moms pump and dump even with a Dr. order to breastfeed. How do you handle this at your hospitals? Any other resources that would benefit breastfeeding moms?

Thanks in advance!

Lisa Hoffmann RN, LCCE, IBCLC
