Gloria,
I think there are many factors to take into account, and so it depends on
the situation. For example, a sick premie would get the newest, fresh milk.
A baby at home taking an occasional ebm bottle, would likely take the
oldest milk, so as not to have to throw it out at expiration times. A baby
in a daycare setting could use the fresh milk also, but being aware of
older milk getting close to expiration.
