I've said for a long time that we diagnose and treat *all the time.*  When we determine a mom has low supply, and then help her come up with a plan to address it, we are diagnosing and creating a plan of treatment.  This is a game of semantics.  In my experience, other professions don't understand why our profession continues to say we don't diagnose and treat.  Obviously, we can't "treat" tongue tie without another license, but we already "diagnose and treat" many presentations.  I love semanitcs.  Really, I do. :)
