Kay Hoover did, years ago, measuring lip angle and found that in mothers
with no pain, the infant's mouth was more open. I think it was in JHL.
There was another study done by Karin Cadwell's group that showed no
single attribute of latch was relevant to maternal pain.
Let me know if you need me to dig up the citations. I would do it now,
but I'm running out the door.
