I love saline soaks and airing, whenever possible.  The missing piece may fill in, I think the damaged duct will eventually heal over. altho a mess ,the milk leaking will help. Back to nursing pads (soaked with milk or saline.} Normal saline is 1 cup water and 1/4 tsp salt.  Pat in Uganda for a month and yes the great granddaughter is adorable & still with jaundice at 1 mo :-(
