I suggest you try Pump n' Pal flanges. They fit into the flange of another pump. Moms find them much more comfortable.
Hope this helps....Connie Connie Draper, IBCLC973 349-2007Prenatal and Postnatal Breastfeeding Consultations

I've got a breastfeeding parent who uses 27/28mm flanges a good consumer
grade pump. Milk output is robust. Nipples are sore no matter what.
Shortening pumping time, decreasing suction, reducing cycles, lubrication
do not improve the discomfort. No reynauds. No visible damage. No thrush.
She just finds the hard flanges Very Uncomfortable.
She asked me about the limerick but is justifiably concerned about the out
of pocket expense. (Her insurance already purchased the Spectra she is
using)
Limerick claims their flanges are one size fits all, but I've found at
least one person with larger nipples who found the fit and action to be a
bit pinchy.
I welcome additional experiences.
Thanks!
