I was thinking about his lip. Classifying his lip is it a 4 - the skin wraps all the way around the gum BUT  the tissue is not short/tight. I can completely lift it up and flange the lip completely over with no restriction and the skin is not taunt. While nursing he flips the lip on his own. He puckers his lips.. I was conflicted on it because i really felt if it was his lip causing the issue then i would have seen some restrictions.
