With moms permission. I have a mom of a 5 month old baby who has been attending my bf'ing support group weekly. Today she has a raised white area on her upper areola that is about 1/2 inch long and 1/8 inch in width and runs horizontally across her areola. It isn't near her nipple, she hasn't been bit, baby is not on solids, she said it is only there while breastfeeding. She isn't having any pain and it doesn't resemble anything I have ever seen with reynauds. I'm not sure what this is and told her that. It almost looks like a raised area that you see with blood vessels yet it isn't blueish or bruised looking. She knows to go to her HCP if it gets worse or she starts having pain. Anyone see anything like this or have ideas? I do have a picture of it.
