Yes, expense is an issue for us "oldies".
An extra financial burden for many of us outside of the US is the unfavourable exchange rate.
A "seniors'" discount would be most welcome. I have already written the exam 3 times and recertified via CERPs 3 times.
However, I do have a concern - how do we evaluate the quality of the CERPs?
