Haven't seen any posts about this for awhile. My understanding is PC05a isn't measured anymore.
Read at website that 70% PCO5 "exclusively breastfeeding" is the goal for hospitals.
As of October 1, 2015 (and maybe already) there are no exceptions as there were in the past.
Brings me to our problem......we are not an NICU although we have Neo's on staff and do have a "special care nursery" that stays quite busy. Since we are not designated as an NICU, we can not exclude all those babies from the stats.
Anyone else in the situation?
Also, do hospitals all use different companies to extract the information from the charts?
Very frustrated in small town Florida....Thanks
Debi
