This is what I have in my notes from a presentation:
Takes many days for the elimination of Dostinex (cabergoline ) from the
mother’s circulation.
Half-life 63 hours, thus about 13 days would be required for “complete
elimination”.
However, cabergoline levels in plasma are very low, and levels in milk will
be much lower than plasma levels.
Oral bioavailablity by the infant would be low as well. So any cabergoline
in milk would be unlikely to be absorbed by the infant.
