I am with my daughter and her lovely children including the newest 12 day
old girl #6. We noticed that her lingual frenum is attached close to the
tip of her tongue creating a mild heart shape when she gapes. Tongue
extends over alveolar ridge but has middle depression. She seems to be
thriving on mother's abundant supply nursing regularly and enough stooling,
but is sometimes in discomfort from air intake. If bf is is going
relatively well ignore or intervene? 4% loss at 4 days but not weighed
since. Mom not in discomfort. Labia frenum attached low too.
