This is quite serious - what medical input has this baby had?
Why are her medical advisers letting the baby drift with zero weight
gain all this time?
I wonder if they are - and the mother is just not listening. MCT oil
is a treatment for very low birth weight preterm babies, is it not?
Five weeks old and below birthweight with loose skin and skinny? This
baby needs proper care, IMO (disclaimer: I am not a doctor, but a
baby presenting like this would worry me a lot, and I would have to
TELL the mother to see a doctor NOW).
She can of course continue to work towards full breastfeeding
alongside any medical care.
