Our hospital is looking for a new model of trancutaneous photometer
for estimating serum bilirubin in newborns. We've been using one that
requires baby to lie perfectly still and the operator to have
unnaturally steady hands.

I'm interested in hearing OFF THE LIST from any of you with experience
with other types of transcutaneous photometers. There is one that
clips onto the baby's earlobe, and there may be others I haven't heard
of. Please e-mail me at my WORK address, [log in to unmask] if you
have any stories to tell about this.

And now, back to our regular broadcast!
