Colostrum expressed to a spoon and given to baby is the best idea, SNS would require a volume -after mom's milk comes in an SNS is more appropriate or if using donor milk. Hand expression is probably the best way to get colostrum without wasting any on pump parts.
So I am not crazy? that is definitely very reassuring, as everybody were
looking at me as if i do have 2 or 3 heads.

Now, what EBM (evidence-based medicine, not expressed breast milk) data
I can present to the hospital to stop this nonsense?
Can anyone share the supplementation protocols from their hospital?

Unfortunately the ABM protocol on supplementation is not very helpful
here as it is talking about supplementation methods in general, even it
does admits that SNS is not as easy to use.

Please, help!
