Great question and I have seen this before. Sometimes it can be the baby has an underlying tongue tie or other oral structure problem and not emptying the breast efficiently enough and shallow latching. Blebs are more common in mothers that have "over supply" and then the supply should be addressed. Lecithin daily can also help. But to make matters more complicated it is my understanding that if those avenues have been looked at and still the blebs remain then mom can have an underlying yeast problem that is manifesting in recurring blebs.
