I love to Weissingerize it - 'Breastfeeding is normal".  We know normal is better, but we don't have to say it that way.  We can tell parents about all the good things in breastmilk and that formula will never be able to duplicate it, no matter what they try to add.
 
Currently working with a mom  with insufficent  breast tissue.  :-(  First really bad case I've ever seen in 47 + years of doing this.  I feel so bad for her, but her attitude is I'll give baby whatever I make and he will be healthier.  And she just loves BFing. Not too thrilled with pumping and supplementing.  Going to try home made SNS today.   Pat in SNJ
