I joined LactNet perhaps in 2007 or so at the suggestion of my great friend and mentor, Judy Gutowski. I was studying to sit for the IBLCE and she urged me to read LactNet daily. I've learned so much from LactNet and the archives are still my go-to place for challenging breastfeeding questions. In addition to the wealth of knowledge, the professional tone and welcoming atmosphere here keep me coming back. Since becoming an IBCLC, I receive many questions from friends and strangers about what steps they should take towards pursing this certification. I always tell them to read LactNet daily!
