Hi everyone, I am a pediatric nurse with 9 years of experience, and have
been working as an inpatient lactation nurse for two years. I have half the
contact hours I need before I can sit for the IBLCE exam.
My family recently relocated from the west coast to Boston and every
lactation job I come across here requires certification.
So I am reaching out to you all for advice on how to complete my hours. Are
there any IBCLCs on this list in the Boston area that are hiring or
interested in becoming a mentor? I would love to take you out for coffee
and learn more about your experience working in this area.
Best regards,
Shanti Zilich, BSN, RN, CPN
