This morning, I had the opportunity to participate in an international phone meeting about global breastfeeding and milk banking efforts and programs. The meeting included a brief report on the Global Strategy for Women’s Children’s and Adolescents’ Health <http://everywomaneverychild.org/images/Global-Strategy_Zero-Draft_FINAL_5-May-2015_copy.pdf> . It is a plan for promoting health worldwide 2015-2030, breastfeeding is not mentioned in the plan.

The draft document is open for comment<http://crowd360.org/gs-survey-round2/> If you are so inclined, please read over the document and add your feedback about the importance of breastfeeding support and education to any plan to promote women’s, children’s and adolescents’ health. Also, feel free to spread the word and to post about this comment opportunity.
