Hi all, I'm looking for advise on hand expressing colostrom in the first
days postpartum in mothers with very large breasts (and in particular, with
flat, sometimes inverted nipples). I have been having problems trying to
help these babies latch on, and when that is not very successful, I have
trouble teaching them hand expression successfully. Sometimes I can't seem
to express the colostrum out and that leads to mom further feeling more
inefficient. What are your best techniques for helping these mothers out?
Much appreciated!
