Good day to you all. I am looking for research or articles discussing the sleepy period of newborns immediately after delivery. I am finding that after delivery our nurses do really well with getting the babies to the breast, but then when the baby goes into the deep sleep pattern and doesn't wake every 2-3hours like the nurses want, supplement is being forced. I would really like to provide my nurses with an inservice about the sleep/wake cycle for newborns. Thanks in advance for any insight. You can private msg me at [log in to unmask]
