Hi all, My friend has been struggling with nipple eczema for about 6 weeks now. She tried to avoid steroid cream but has now resorted to it. The eczema started when she was pregnant then went away. Her baby is now 15 months. Mum also has outbreaks of psoriasis. This is her 3rd baby. She has had no bother before.Any thoughts would be appreciated. I looked up the 'Breastfeeding Atlas'. Only one case is mentioned and steroid cream was used successfully to treat the eczema. My friend was sent to specialist clinic to check what the problem was then and told it was eczema when she was pregnant. Her toddler feeds loads.Thank you in advance,Sarah McCann,Carrickfergus,Northern Ireland.www.BreastfeedingResourcesNI.co.uk
