Thats what gm/kg/d means. I am talking about < 1500 gm birthweight infants. We have no idea what late preterm infants need to gain.
I'm afraid I'm not quite understanding the 18g/kg/d weight gain. Does
hat mean that for every kilo the baby weighs, they are to gain 18 g/day?
eaning if the baby is 2 kilos (4.4 pounds), then they need to gain 36 g/day?
o the smaller they are, the less they have to gain per day...the bigger
hey are, the more they have to gain per day.
