Jimi Francis' research showed these vitamins break down faster when exposed to air. Wide bottles expose more of the milk surface to air, speeding degradation, and bottles that let less air in will preserve these vitamins. The clinical effect is likely to be trivial to non existent.

This may have been previously discussed and I missed it, but I just was made aware of the new advertising on the Dr. Brown's Natural Flow bottle. They've advertised reduced colic and spit-up for years. The packaging now states, "Helps preserve vitamins C, A, E plush lipids." My jaw dropped right onto the floor. UGH!
