In negotiating for this, I would recommend keeping the focus on the needs of the
baby lest it be looked at as just something for mom's benefit. In doing the
latter you could run into the attitude that this person (the mem) did something
wrong and doesn't deserve any consideration beyond what all prisoners gt.
(Notwithstanding the risk to her health from getting engorged.) However, if you
take the approach that the infant shouldn't be "punished" for the wrongs of its
mother, you might get further.
