While others may have a different result, a helpful friend suggested I could stop night time feeds at 10 months. I think I was getting up twice at night then, memory is still foggy. Well, it didn't work, periods resumed, in my opinion, it wasn't good advice. It did work for her, she sent her husband in with water, child figured out quickly that night feeds weren't happening and slept through, but she didn't do it alone and she wasn't 4 months old.
