Jean was warmth, joy, curiosity, sagacity, and a person filled with purpose.
She was so modest about her wealth of knowledge and depth of experience
that she couldn't even see herself as a real researcher and innovator
because her credentials didn't include PhDs. And what a pal she was to us,
who talked with her via emails, and the occasional phone call. She was so
proud of her grand-nephew whose drawings she used in her articles. His work
is indeed so sensitive and his line so intelligent. Just like Jean. It's
devastating to lose the likes of Jean to all of us on this list. I've been
a LN lurker always and for years, but this is a sadness I know I share with
you all.
