Might anyone have references for an endocrinologist who will not do thyroid
testing before six weeks post partum because he states tests aren't
accurate? Mom has been on synthroid for years prior to pregnancy, during
pregnancy and same dose now post partum. I have Diana West's and Lisa Marasco's
references from their book but also wondered if anyone has experience with
this type of situation and what was used to convince the physician this
could be necessary. Mom could be considered in hyperlactation mode but no
symptoms of hyperthyroidism; she is almost 3 weeks PP, 19 days.

Thank you in advance.
