 Is there a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding during the hospital stay, with no supplements, and a higher readmission rate for phototherapy? My manager asked me about this. My first thought is that the babies readmitted for phototherapy had mostly been 'pretending' to breastfeed and not doing much active swallowing. Susan in Mnrn ibclc
