Subject: breastfeeding toddler and early pregnancy
PTP, mother of toddler who nurses during the night and daytime, when mom
not working, has noticed mild cramps during morning nursing and is concerned
about impact of this on very early pregnancy. She had an IUI about a week
ago. She is concerned about potential pregnancy being at risk. Have
given her usual information about oxytocin's effect but wondering myself if this
is of any concern or different with IUI (not sure why it would be). And
why would cramping occur so early in pregnancy when nursing?
Thank you for any insights.
