A client of mine is dealing with a breast that makes milk,
but unable to remove from the breast through bfeeding
or pumping.

She has had 3 bouts of cancer originating from a bout of
melonoma (in the arm pit) over 10 years ago.

1 1/2 years ago she had radiation treatment of the armpit.
Mom states it was focused in the armpit area only but also
stated that the skin was affected (red, burning) on the
outer two quadrants of the breast.

To date, after considerable loss of weight from birth,
baby has gained over 10 ounces in the last week.

Things are looking great !

Does anyone know of on-line support groups for mom’s bfeeding
with one functioning breast ? A cursory search of the internet hasn’t
turned anything up; the same of FB, nothing.

The milk is actually blue. Baby is 3 months. She did have contrast, antibiotics and pain meds. She denies any other supplements. I specifially asked about DHA. Could she have been injected with dye or something else? Would dye come out in her milk like this? She wasn't able to tell me much else. All I keep thinking about is methylene blue. Would that be applicable in a gallbladder surgery? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks, Mandy Schaub
